A pretty lame article on the most recent Star Wars movie from CNN. This sentence (emphasis mine), though, takes the cake:

It's increasingly possible 'Revenge of the Sith' will eventually gross more than $400 million domestically -- maybe even overtaking 'Phantom Menace' and the original 'Star Wars' (without being adjusted for inflation) for second place behind 'Titanic.'

If it isn't adjusted for inflation, what, praytell, is the point of the comparison?

At least they didn't show it in a poor graphic...Tufte would have had their heads.

Good article on how to give your brain a workout and keep dementia at bay that much longer.
Jason, I think, just found the best sound board ever if you are any sort of fan of Doctor Who.

I have been listening to Green Day's latest this morning. I heard the following lyrics:

From Anaheim to the middle east
We are the stories and disciples
Of the Jesus of suburbia

which I misheard as:

Jesus of Strongbadia

That, of course got me really excited. I was a bit disappointed when I looked up the lyrics, the song is still good--though the sound reminds of highschool.

Want a song with a lot of cowbell? Try I Need a Lover by John 'Cougar' Mellencamp. Make sure you get the version with the 1.5 minute plus lead-in. There is a solid 17 seconds of *just* cowbell.

Guess what? I got a fever! And the only prescription, is more cowbell!
